IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, you may experience shipping delays. Most parcels are shipped next day express and arrive in 1 business day, but there are occasional delays due to volume shipping during the pandemic. By confirming your order, you accept all risk and liability in the event of a delay. At this time, as a small business, we can't take on this risk and apologize for any inconvenience.
We strive to have all orders shipped within one business day of ordering, with exception to those containing frozen and refrigerated goods, which are currently only shipped on Mondays, and Tuesdays.
After we have submitted your order to the courier, any delays are unfortunately beyond our control, and you must contact the carrier directly to obtain more information regarding delayed shipments. Vegan Foods Wholesale is not responsible for losses resulting from these delays. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO boxes. Orders are not shipped on holidays.
Tracking Your Order
We use a service that chooses from a variety of different couriers so that we can offer you the best rate and the fastest delivery time for your order. Once your order has shipped, you can request a tracking number. As soon as your package is taken into the courier's care, only the courier can provide the latest location updates for your parcel as we are no longer in control of the package. You can check on your parcel's delivery timeframe by looking it up on the courier's website.
Orders containing refrigerated/frozen products are only shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is because any delay to a shipment over a weekend when courier companies are closed may compromise the quality of the product. Refrigerated and frozen products require Cold Packs and Insulated Shipping Liners to help maintain an optimum temperature. However, despite these precautions, your products may arrive thawed. Just like unpacking store-bought groceries on a hot summer's day, this should not typically be cause for concern. Being plant-based, our products are not considered hazardous foods, and temporary temperature variations should not compromise the safety of a product. However, please use your judgement in each case in determining your own level of comfort. Refunds cannot be issued for products that arrive spoiled.
Some of our vegan cheeses and meats which are stored frozen but meant to be retailed in the fridge, will be sent to you in a frozen state in order to maintain the crispest possible temperature and quality. They will however be labelled with an expiration date which indicates the best before date in their refrigerated state, so please put them into your fridge when you receive them, to enjoy in the correct state once thawing is complete.
The ice packs we use are non-toxic and can be reused many times! They may also be donated to local food banks, schools or community centres, where accepted. If you'd like to dispose of your ice packs, you may safely pour the contents down the drain, rinse with warm water, and recycle the plastic packaging.
As a vegan company that is committed to bettering the world, we will, where possible, reuse cardboard boxes and insulated packaging supplies that we have received our own shipments in.
